A BETTER VIEW OF
YOUR EYE HEALTH
By opting for an OCT Scan, our optometrist can take a detailed image of your eye and look at your retina in greater detail to generate a more in-depth record of your eye health.
OCT scans can be used to identify early signs of multiple conditions and monitor the signs of ageing.
The images taken during your scan can be used to see any changes over time and compare them to your baseline or first scan image.

HOW DOES OCT WORK?
We have invested in the Topcon Maestro 2 OCT & True Colour Fundus Camera. This particular equipment benefits from producing 3D, wide-angle, colour images.
Our OCT scans are non-invasive so nothing will touch your eye at any point whilst the images are being taken. This scan is suitable for people with pacemakers or metal implants. If you have hearing aids, you can wear them throughout the procedure.
